Can crypto be private?
(this week's class)
For years, I’ve warned people about the dangers of CBDCs and programmable money.
I have been telling as many people as I can to use cash and goldbacks… But still I constantly get asked, “What about crypto? Is Bitcoin private?”
Well, it’s not a simple answer...
Crypto was created SPECIFICALLY for peer-to-peer transactions… The early founders were digital rebels who wanted to create a real solution.
The idea of a peer-to-peer currency that was not regulated or controlled by the self-appointed “elites” was scary for them. That’s why the crypto scene was hijacked.
Instead of being used for actual transactions, Bitcoin is now only seen as a speculative investment. In the 2010s payment platforms like Zelle and PayPal were being pushed heavily as a digital payment processor, instead of crypto. And Bitcoin forums were being shifted from the topic of sovereignty into the topic of investment.
If you read Roger Ver’s book ((Hijacking Bitcoin) and I recommend you do) on this, he says this is not a coincidence but rather an intentional plan to change the purpose of crypto.
So yes, Bitcoin had good intentions, but it’s focus has been hijacked.
But what about the actual “technology” aspect of crypto?
Bitcoin? Not private. It’s public, it’s on the blockchain, and you can see ANYONE’S transactions.
Stablecoins? Even worse. If you do research on the G.E.N.I.U.S. act, you will realize that Stablecoins are designed to replace CBDCs as trackable, programmable, money.
So, have I completely written off crypto?
No. I believe in having one foot in and one foot out (while consistently moving more out than in). I also understand that technology moves forwards, not back.
I consider modern technology to be like fire.
First, man found fire. Then, he learned how to control it.
If we are not careful, we will burn ourselves with modern technology. But it also can provide great benefits for us in the future if we can control it.
Like I said, I am not behind Bitcoin as a privacy solution…
Instead, I am more interested in projects like Monero that actually provide powerful, private solutions.
There are REAL solutions out there, but most people don’t know about them.
I think it is a very important topic to cover, and that’s why I invited my friend – John Bush to hold a special class this week titled The Crypto Privacy Crackdown Report.
The class goes live this Saturday, February 14th at 12pm CT (1pm ET / 11am MT / 10am PT).
You can sign up for that class here.
I hope you enjoy it!

P.S.
This is not financial advice. AND I never recommend crypto as a way to make money. I am only interested in privacy respecting projects designed to protect sovereignty with modern technology.
